What is Global Postural Re-education (RPG)
It is an important and revolutionary rehabilitation method that comes from studies, biomechanical and neurophysiological research by Professor Philippe E. Souchard, an internationally renowned professor who created and elaborated the RPG, founding the Permanent International University of Manual Therapy (UIPTM) in Saint Mont, in France, the center of diffusion of the method in the world.
The ultimate goal of RPG is the global restoration of the static and dynamic balance of the body, compromised by the intervention of spontaneous defense mechanisms against external aggressions.
It is based on three fundamental principles;
INDIVIDUALITY : each individual is equal only to himself, therefore the technique cannot be standardized, because everyone has different adaptations.
CAUSALITY : the careful study of the patient manages to trace the cause of the pain, eliminating all the compensations implemented over time.
GLOBALITY : to recreate the lost balance it is necessary to work actively on the whole osteoarticular structure of the spine, of the upper and lower limbs closely related to it. It is clear how important it is to fight any type of pathology by acting on the body as a whole, in order to eliminate pain and the cause of the symptom.
